Trouble after updating MAMP to version 3.5
After updating MAMP to version 3.5 following message appears when opening a local txp-installation:
Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; DB has a deprecated constructor in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/txp/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 23Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/txp/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php:34 Stack trace: #0 /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/txp/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php(50): DB->DB() #1 /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/txp/textpattern/publish.php(31): include_once(‘/Applications/M…’) #2 /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/txp/index.php(82): include(‘/Applications/M…’) #3 {main} thrown in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/txp/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 34

Re: Trouble after updating MAMP to version 3.5
Probably PHP 7.0, which isn’t compatible with TXP 4.5.x.
Either downgrade the PHP version, or upgrade to the development version of TXP (what is to become 4.6).

Thanks Ruud, MAMP 3.5 comes with PHP 7.0
Contao, Wordpress an Processwire Installations already work fine with 7.0. So I will wait for TXP 4.6
