Re: [Solved] Textpattern 4.6 install error (eAccelerator issue)

Hi etc,

Tried that PHP script and I just get a white screen of death when I run it.

I have plenty of other PHP apps on that server which are all running without a hitch – just recent Textpattern builds going wrong.

Phil, this script should run fine on any PHP 5.3 server (tested) and output

Array
(
    [0] => 1
    [2] => 2
)

As you know, latest Textpattern builds require at least PHP 5.3, are you sure about your version? If yes, maybe ask your provider why anonymous functions are not supported.

Edit: or you are running an eAccelerator (though I don’t know what it is)

Re: [Solved] Textpattern 4.6 install error (eAccelerator issue)

It looks like my server is indeed running eAccelerator caching.

I have removed the /etc/php.d/eaccelerator.ini file now to deactivate it, and… EVERYTHING WORKS AGAIN!

Thanks Oleg you are a genius.

I think there needs to be some notes in the install docs noting that eAccelerator is defunct and broken – just in case others are inadvertently running it.

We can also modify do_list_unique function.
