cant' save pages and stylesheet

hi,

fresh install. forms can be saved, but pages and stylesheet can’t. :(

Are any errors being thrown? Might be a server module security issue. Try adding these lines to .htaccess:

<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>

tried your and stef’s suggestions – didn’t help.

what i noticed: it actually lets me save pages, forms, stylesheets, until i’m trying to put something javascript-involved. like this for example:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="<txp:site_url />js/waypoints.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="<txp:site_url />js/jquery.prettySocial.min.js"></script>
.....

;)

looks like, the only way here is to talk with the provider. or…?

Could it be related to the presence of quotes rather than the javascript itself? I can’t imagine you putting javascript in your css, but you would use quotes there. If it is, maybe check your db charset…

It was ModSecurity module, which needed to turn off in cPanel. problem solved.

but why those lines in .htaccess didn’t help…? did i added them uncorrectly….?

Because it could have been Mod_Sec2 – which you can’t turn off via htaccess…. (so I was told)
