Breadcrumb

I wanted to put the breadcrumb, using the tag of text pattern I have written:

<txp:breadcrumb label="Navigation" separator=":" link="0" wraptag="p" />

but doesn’t nothing come because?

Re: Breadcrumb

Breadcrumbs are not displayed on the “Default” section of your site

Re: Breadcrumb

Edited the docs where a note re default page existed but was buried among the examples.

Re: Breadcrumb

Phil, Pete (et al.), is it any use posting changes to the docs or have you anyway frozen the status quo?

The wiki isn’t technically frozen (changes are still possible), though edits should be as few as possible in favour of editing the Textpattern docs on GitHub instead. If editing isn’t viable, then raising an issue will have it listed for someone to take a look at it.

I tweaked the breadcrumb tag and made the change here so the two docs are largely in sync with one another.

Thanks, Pete.

Please see my posting here as raising an issue, cause in order to do that on Github I needed an account there, too. ~50 screens full of lawyer mumbo-jumbo (that’s n times my height), in a foreign language. (I’m afraid l’ll have to put that in my signature soon, with GH having become so popular ;)

Re: Breadcrumb

Looks like they’ve shortened their TOS to ~6 screens full. That’s slightly less than my height. Will see whether I comprehend that once I’ve the opportunity.

Don’t worry Uli, GitHub will only sell your soul to the highest bidder or anyone who shows a passing interest in exactly the same manner as Facebook, Twitter, Apple, Google, Sony, Adobe, Microsoft, …

Gosh, that’s my subject, I could go like a rocket, but it’s not my blog here.

I can recommend a CMS if you want to start a blog.

Re: Breadcrumb

Will throw it all at thegrid.io ;)
[And have it all look a little squared. Miles of tiles.]
