The first Beta of PHP 7 is coming out tomorrow – http://php7.zend.com/

Planning on creating a test VM with Debian 8.1 to kick the tires in PHP 7, will post new benchmarks.

Here is Zeev’s browser, he uses Chrome and Skype quite extensively.

Magento 1.9.0.1 / files- 11,642 / lines of code – 2,110,148

It takes 5 minutes to generate a cross reference, Textpattern takes 7 seconds :)

Re: Turbocharging the Web with PHP 7

Hi, guys. PHP 7 is right here. In my website, Diagnostics give some warning messages. Here they are:

pretext_data: Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; DB has a deprecated constructor in /mnt/webt/a3/35/56833635/htdocs/blog/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 23

Is there anything to change in our source code? Bye and thanks.
