Missing Update button

Today is my day for errors. I just upgraded to Textpattern 4.5.4 and now I don’t seem to be able to edit my articles. I can create a new article and then click the “publish” button at the bottom of the screen. But once it is published, there is no way to edit and update it. There is simply no button where the publish button used to be.

From memory about what I read here at the forums: Try emptying the cache as a first step.
