I’ve run into a bit of a glitch: when using the hive theme on 4.5, no “save” button appears when I’m editing a post http://cl.ly/image/442C3P1q040H
switching to the classic theme fixes this.
This only happens when editing an existing article. If I create a new one, the “publish” button displays just fine.

I’m using the latest Chrome on osX if it makes any difference

Hmmm. Works fine here (OSX Chrome version 22.0.1229.26 beta). Are you running any plugins which might affect this? Does the button code actually appear in the HTML code at all?

Ok, I feel really stupid saying “never mind”. I found the same problem on 2 different installations, but now when i logged out and back in again, the button is there. maybe it was a cache issue?

Most likely yes. Textpattern hides main asynchronous saving buttons in CSS and re-displays when mandatory JavaScript is ready.

Had the same problem, toggled article author in articles tab (with selected) and save button appeared. May be a quick remedy for those with the option.

- and it is gone thanks to some re-loading and stuff I do not remember anymore.
