For many clients I’ve set galleries using image categories and smd_gallery.
This method has sometimes a gap: it’s not so simple to sort images.
Well, you can use name or date but this systems aren’t intuitive for non-expert clients.

Someone has a solution for solve this?!
I’m not a plug-in developer, I can’t write code, but I can produce ideas.
What if a plug-in let users view all image categories like group of images. With drag and drop options the images can be sorted. Modify the order will change the name of images adding numeric prefix.
