Re: [wiki] TXP (written copy) Style Guide

The last word on the use of “CMS” as far as the style guide goes:

  1. A new SEO appendix has be added to help indicate that “Textpattern CMS” should be used in the template metadata, etc. for all textpattern-managed sites.
  2. The guideline for link text will suggest using “CMS”.
  3. In the same link text section, an entry was included for referring to TextGarden.

Remembering that these are suggested guidelines, anyone can write “Textpattern Plugins”, for example, but someone else can rightfully come along and change the link to “Textpattern CMS Plugins” and nobody can complain (nor should they bother to change it back).

Those managed on Joyent specifically for the Textpattern open source project, which, if I’m not mistaken, are .com, .net, .org, and textgarden.org.

It’s at least in the style guide. It’s up to everyone else to make use of it (and for the website to reflect it).
