[SOLVED] Texpattern hangs on some pages

Hi guys,

I have a strange problem with my Textpattern 4.3 installation.
I have a live installation out there, if it’s not against forum rules and someone wants to help me I give the address without spamming it on this page.

The problem is that some of the pages do not load, it seems like a “cache” problem that prevents the page from loading when the link is being clicked.
For example: I first go to biography page, then try to load contacts and the page hangs on biography, but the url correctly shows contacts page url.

Hope my description of the problem is clear enough.

Is it possible that the database or the web server is overloaded?

It is a shared host, so this could be a possibility, but… The site has really low traffic.

What I forgot to say is that pressing the reload button on the web browser always works!
The right page is generated without exceptions.

To reproduce the error I have to clear the browser cache.

With clean urls disabled thing seem to work fine… Any ideas?

Try setting “Send Last-Modified header” to yes in advanced prefs.

Edit: Hm, logic … did I look up the wrong site? Let’s say “change the setting” :-/

No luck :(
Changed the setting but the problem is still there. Only messy url resolve the issue.

Edit: every time I try to reload the page it goes well on the selected page. No ideas? :\ (sob!)

Edit: the backend also seems to have a strong cache also. When I set the preferences, change tab and go back on the preference one, checkboxes are not updated!

Edit: I installed this Textpattern setup on a different server and the error is gone. It’s likely a server issue. Thank you for the help.
