Wouldn’t name it “solve”, I just can’t reproduce the issue. And as the vanished cf tooltip reappeared it’s probably been my blindness, sorry :)

Hi Redbot.

The tooltips are now not appearing for me in the write tab again. I haven’t changed anything, i just went there and they were gone. Have refreshed a few times.

~~I hope~~ I think maybe it has to do with glz_custom_field (see here).
What happens if you disable it? Or – conversely – if you install another jquery based plugin (which is known to work) like rah_write_each_section?

This plugin is great! so usefull instead of having to write long PDFs explaining to clients what is what.

Found a little problem.
Not all user types can see the tooltips, actually only the editor can.
Is that something nobody else realised or is it just a bug in my instalation?

Hi mlarino,
Are you saying if you set a tooltip, say for the “title” in the “write” tab, only publishers can see it?
Mhm… it shouldn’t be a problem with the plugin. At least in my installations it works ok for every privilege level.
Could you provide more infos? Are you using the last version (0.3)? Which other plugins are you using?

Yes, I have a tooltip in the “title” and another in the “sections”, I can see both when I am logged in as publisher, but they disapear when I log in with any other user privilege…

yes its strange, I’m sorry but I don’t seem to be able to reproduce this problem and I have no idea what can be causing it.
Furthermore I can’t see how it can interfere with bot_hide_per_section – I have done some testing and for me it’s working with or without the plugin enabled.
The only thing I can think of is a cache issue. Have you tried disabling bot_hide_per_section, logging as a non-publisher and clearing the cache?
Also, it would be useful if someone else could confirm this behaviour so we can solve this bug (if its really a bug).
