Woo! Let me know when it’s released. I’ve really been longing for this feature.

Re: rvm_css (v1.0)

Impressive stuff, Ruud – thank you.

If you were considering a future feature – one might be an option on the CSS edit window, next to “save”, to strip out comments and whitespace in the static version (but it still remains annotated in the editable version).

The reason I think it would need to be an option is that I’ve seen otherwise well-behaved stylesheets with maybe just a missing semi-colon suddenly break when stripping out comments and whitespace.

Re: rvm_css (v1.0)

I’ve implemented this in all the txp based sites. This really speeds up things! Neat job!

Re: rvm_css (v1.0)

This plugin seems to be a great complement to asy_jpcache. Do you all use that one too? Thanks a lot Ruud!

Re: rvm_css (v1.0)

I have a problem with, I think, file permission.
The directory is created (at the same level of images one), named lovercase css and the path is correct (in advanced preferences I have this: Style directory: css).
Anyway, even if I choose a style file and save, nothing appears in the css directory.

What should I control?

Thnks in advance.

EDIT: solved

Re: rvm_css (v1.0)

Ruud I’m having a slight problem with the plug-in. My host server uses PHP4 by default and I have been quite happy to use it this way up to now, but I decided this morning to switch to PHP5 which is available via the .htaccess rule AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php. Once I had switched, on the “Style” tab when saving a style sheet I get the following at the bottom of the page:-

Warning: fopen(/home/thebombs/public_html/css/default.css) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/thebombs/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(571) : eval()'d code on line 72
Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/thebombs/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(571) : eval()'d code on line 73
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/thebombs/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(571) : eval()'d code on line 74

And it seems not to be changing the files in the CSS folder. Any way around this?

Re: rvm_css (v1.0)

Stuart, it seems that you do not have permission to open ‘/home/thebombs/public_html/css/default.css’. The other two errors are a result of that.
