The validation errors are caused by the misuse, basically, of the name attribute for the purpose of conveying readable text. Using the name attribute had to do with the annoying tool tip duplication of text when using title. The validator recommends escaping using html entities, that may clear most of the problems but its clumsy to sort out and key, and this defeats your point by rendering your html as text rather than interpreting it as html. I think that to pass text thru attributes in the html this way will continue to incur this problem because it goes against their inherent design characteristics, they were never intended to convey complex text. Its for this reason that I have not pursued or developed this plugin any further than I have.
