Re: stm_image_uploader: directly upload images from Write tab
I want in my website to register the user i.e. Put a username and Password for login in page. I made this form for this but how can I add rest of the code for this form to work. Expecting the help for this. Thanks.

Thanks, really really useful. A feature for the future might be an option to fill in the Article image field in advanced options with the image id automatically.

Excellent!
This is working for me, whereas dzd_upload_image isn’t.
I also think the location of this, in the center column, is much more balanced.
Can just a little more be added though? – you still have to navigate to the Images page, to assign an image category – so the plugin is convenient, but it isn’t more efficient.
If you can assign a category to the image when you upload it, that will be great!

Agree, great plugin and works like a charm, but it would be nice to edit other parameters, too (in another dive element which can be toggled on/off).
Also, could you make result box where that image tag is a bit wider? I am already at image 206 and the box is too narrow.

Great plugin! FYI it fails in IE7. All I see is the line “Pictures upload”.
I had the same issues as well. Looked great in Safari in FF but the same result in my client’s IE6.
My solution was to edit the plugin and change
iframe.border = “none”;
at line 18 to
iframe.border = “0”;
That fixed the IE issues. Hopes this can be of help for others.

Re: stm_image_uploader: directly upload images from Write tab
This looks like the perfect plugin for me to streamline the workflow for my writers. I want them to be able to upload a single image that is associated with the article.
But two problems.
1. The image is not automatically associated with the article. How do I hack this?
2. The plugin works when I log in with full permissions but FAILS for Freelance Writers. It looks like the image upload area is rendering the admin page itself… I see the Content, Admin and View tabs, followed by the error:
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/chor3o/public_html/home/textpattern/lib/txplib_head.php on line 220”
(This line number is not really correct, BTW.)
How to fix this?

This is because Freelancers normally don’t have permissions over the image tab. One way to resurrect this is to adapt the privileges in admin.config
Freelancers have a privs level of 5. So adding this number to the image index of the $txp_permissions array will change that.
Downside is, that these Freelancers then have full access over the image tab and can delete / upload any images.
Not a very good solution.

Re: stm_image_uploader: directly upload images from Write tab
I am not sure what the Image tab has to do with this plugin which is appearing on the Write tab. But in any case I have the following in the correct place:
'image' => '1,2,3,4,5,6'
But that doesn’t help. Good suggestion though!
P.S. I have applied the hack to show only articles for the logged in writer, but that wouldn’t affect this.
