I believe TxD is in the process of relocating *.textpattern.com. I don’t know if that’s the cause of the current problems.

Posting here, just because this thread is already open.

Last evening (Friday, 13th!) i received an “Too many connections” error here and Textbook was down too.
The forum is back, but right now Textbook is still unavailable:

From 7am GMT to at most an hour ago I was getting

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/tmp/mysql.sock’ (2).

Yeah, it’s quite bad when they’re all down like that. Hopefully that move to the new server will come soon.

Maybe new servers? You’d think Textpattern would have a brand new hexacore server by now :P.
