Re: rsx_page_number

Uuhh, one more request ;) Don’t know if this is simple. Could you make it so that it works on a search results page? <txp:older> and <txp:newer> are not working at all, and the only thing missing in your plugin is the search query in the url. Like this: page link goes to /search/?pg=2 and should be /search?q=query&pg=2 or /search?pg=2&q=query. As can be seen here.

Re: rsx_page_number

I’ll look into this when I have a chance. Hopefully tomorrow. I hadn’t considered the case honestly.

Re: rsx_page_number

Thanks, but don’t feel rushed. In 4.0.1. <txp:older> and <txp:newer> finally work on search results pages, so I’ll use those for the time being. (I’d prefer to be able to use rsx_page_number_list though…)

Re: rsx_page_number

Hey, just wanted to know I am still a bit busy. I haven’t forgotten about this request. I need to look in to how you can tell if a special search page is being used, versus the index with a query string, and things like this.

Re: rsx_page_number

Kind of fatal error; but I’m not sure.

Here you will find your plug-in in action. It is inserted as
Seite <txp:rsx_page_number /> von <txp:rsx_last_page_num />. Weiter zu den Seiten <txp:rsx_page_number_list /> (bloody German, I know). I have to point out that I deleted the ul and li tags in your plugin, but this won’t be part of the problem..

Problem: if the user switches top a category, e.g. tagging, he is told the total number of pages, but the links point to the pages outside the category, here http://www.irox.de/roxomatic/?pg=2 instead of http://www.irox.de/roxomatic/?c=tagging&pg=2.

Any hints? Thanks in advance.

Re: rsx_page_number

I think this came up elsewhere, and I said I’d fix it, but I didn’t, because I forget to do these things. I don’t think this is a tricky fix. If you know how to program, you can test to see if the global $c is set, and if so, append “&c=$c” to the URL that gets generated. I can work on this soon. Busy this weekend though.

Re: rsx_page_number

FYI: The same problem is there with search result pages. I deactivated the plug-in in the meantime (for all those who visit my pages due to the posting above)…

Re: rsx_page_number

Hello!

Installing rsx_page_number fails, as after hitting ‘Upload’, I cannot go further and get those lines:

Notice: unserialize(): Argument is not a string in /home/urbangr1/public_html/textpattern/include/txp_plugin.php on line 155

… and below:

Badly formed or empty plugin code

This is a great pity, as it seems to be a great idea of a plugin, and one that would perform just what I’m looking for.

Is there any chance, Ramanan, that you can look into the code and see what’s wrong ? Perhaps it needs to be updated for the latest TXP version if it has changed since the plugin came out ?

Thanks in advance!

L.

Re: rsx_page_number

Any luck with category not showing? i really need this as my links are root/section/id/title and linking heavily depends on categories, as for php, i haven’t programmed for years and last was with asp so i can’t afford right now to delve into php;) as i understand is not so difficult, any more tips for do it yourself if author cant find time to fix this? :)
thanks
filip

Re: rsx_page_number

So this plug in won’t work in 4.0.3?
