Did you activate it in the admin/plugin section?

Yes, I installed the plugin, then activated it. Everything seemed to work fine. I “viewed” the plugin and followed the directions on using the plugin for an article. It will not work. Nothing seems to showup. That’s why I am thinking I need to go to extension > bas_lightbox, but I do not have an extensions tab.

WTF?!?

Hi,

I looked at example page, but it does not seem to be working via my version of Firefox (FF2/PC/XP)… Anyone else notice this?

Also, it looks like the example page is not using the standard approach to a lightbox… Anyone have an example of this plugin in action using the more traditional lightbox look/feel?

Sorry folks!

While working on my page I deleted some files and articles and not everything is working.

But I’m working on make the plugin things available.

While i`m working on bringing it back to my page, i had a look into bas_lightbox source and decided to do a little update:

bas_lightbox05.php

Changelog

DB Usage One query per tag instead of making two queries per image (probably i was drunken when writing the prior code:)
Using a prototype-ultra.js That one is 15 kB instead of 50 kB. Not much while all original scripts have 100 kB. But it is a third.
Update to Lightbox v2.03.3
Custom Field Support [4.0.4 only] As announced in last release a “Lightbox” named custom field shows a drop-down list of all image categories.

Note For all of you using this plugin already: This first release of is named bas_lightbox05, so you can simply test it by deactivating bas_lightbox and install and activate bas_lightbox05.

If you test it, please let me know when Custom Field support works. I tested it successfully with a clean, fresh txp and at jusos-wuppertal.de, but i failed at samisdat.org. But at samisdat i use so much plugins, that it might be caused by them.

This doesnt seem to work in Safari – TXP4.0.5. Seems to work fine in Firefox. The original script installed on another site seems to work fine in both browsers so must be a problem with bas_lightbox. Anyone else finding this problem? Any ideas on a fix as its a great plugin?

I also notice that a lot of the effects on your site arent working either in Safari Bastian – must be a js issue I think. Clouds not moving – tv’s not showing coloured screen etc.

hmm i dunno. im using safari 3 beta for windows and bas_lightbox (on bastians example page) seems to work fine for me

Hi there, I manged to get this little Gem of an erro when installing this onto my site.

Installed the plugin, Selected Extensions, BAS-lightbox, Advanced install. It Succseefully download the files from samisdat.org and after clicking next threw up this error :)

Installation completed
You can use bas_lightbox now:

Include <txp:bas_lightbox_head /> into your head.

I would recommon that you only include it to sections where you use Lightbox, because the scripts not small.

Use <txp:bas_lightbox /> in your article or article forms.

Use <txp:bas_lightbox use_section=“true”/> or <txp:bas_lightbox use_cat=“true”/> pages or forms.

On the next screen you can config the plugin to make it fitting tp your proposals.

For more informations read the plugin’s help or visit samisdat.org.

Matthew: Maybe you could try to upload images and files manually. I’ve installed this plugin like million times and it still works like a charm.
