Re: bos_image_display and bos_image_category for simple image gallery

This is server log:
[Mon Aug 06 17:09:34 2007] [error] [client 87.118.115.69] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://okoshki.by/textpattern/index.php

Re: bos_image_display and bos_image_category for simple image gallery

Uhm. As far as I know 500 server error is rather generic, and could be caused by a variety or reasons. Maybe not related to the plugin.

You previously said that the in_article attribute was working fine. Is something changed, then? Does the error occur in every article with galleries or only in some of them? It’s difficult to help without further informations.

Check the webserver error logs, they should give a reason for the HTTP 500 error.

Re: bos_image_display and bos_image_category for simple image gallery

The only thing I can think about – not being a server side expert… – is to try different setting of the plugin. Inside and outside the article (i.e. in a section page, also), with different attributes, etc., to see if there is a typical situation in which the problem occurs.

500 error can also be related to virtual hosting service and usage of memory.

Re: bos_image_display and bos_image_category for simple image gallery

Would it be easy to replace (via an option maybe) the numeric counter in bos_image_display (the one that bos_album uses) with a list of image names instead?

TIA,

Re: bos_image_display and bos_image_category for simple image gallery

I suppose you mean bos_image_index, because bos_image_display hasn’t the counter attribute.

And in that case, yes, it’s simple: use title=“1” and counter=“0” attributes. There is a title_tag attribute to wrap title (default h3). See plugin help for details.

Re: bos_image_display and bos_image_category for simple image gallery

Hi,
this seems to be a great plugin, but I have a problem with the navigation.
I’ve tried using the code in sections and in articles with no luck. The <txp:bos_nav> only shows the ‘up’ link (that works) – the next and previous links are not there.
I’ve tried the ‘old’ bos_imgprev and bos_imgnext instead, but the next link give me this url: http://www.depot1-testserver.dk/da/?c=holiday&p=5
It should have been: http://www.depot1-testserver.dk/da/section/title/?p=5 (I think …)
I’ve tried all different permanent link modes, but that does’nt change anything either.
All images have thumbnails (which works as links using the bos_image_index).
Since noone in this thread seems to have had this problem, I must have missed something very basic.
Any help is highly appreciated!

This is my code (in an article form):

<div id="fotos">
<txp:bos_image_display sortdir="asc" default="first" wraptag="div" title_tag="p" cat='<txp:custom_field name="images_category" />' capt="1" />
<txp:bos_imgprev cat="holiday" wraptag="p"> forrige</txp:bos_imgprev>
<txp:bos_imgnext cat="holiday" wraptag="p"> næste</txp:bos_imgnext>
</div>
